International School of Economics and Management, and the University of Rhode Island '2.5+1.5' Program

According to the cooperative agreement between the International School of Economics and Management at Capital University of Economics and Business (CUEB) and the University of Rhode Island (URI) for the "2.5+1.5" dual-bachelor's international program, Capital University of Economics and Business will select second-year undergraduate students to study finance at URI's College of Business Administration for a period of 1.5 years. Students who meet the graduation requirements of both universities will be awarded degrees from both CUEB and URI. The goal of this program is to equip students with knowledge in their chosen field of study, proficiency in both languages, and an understanding of the cultures and interactions of both countries, enabling them to successfully adapt to the cultural differences between the two.

In the near future, we will expand the scope of our cooperation to include other programs offered by different departments and schools at URI that are of mutual interest to both parties.

b.The University of Rhode Island offers a wide range of courses and has multiple colleges.

c.The university's student-to-faculty ratio is 16:1, and this low ratio ensures that students receive more individual attention and one-on-one assistance.

d.There are over 600 internship programs, and internship opportunities are available throughout the United States and around the world.

2.The basic requirements for this program

a.The applicants are second-year students from the International School of Economics and Management at Capital University of Economics and Business.

b.Complete two academic years of study at CUEB.

c.Have a good level of English proficiency (Achieve at least one of the following requirement):

  • Ielts 6.5

  • Paper-based TOEFL 550

  • Computer-based TOEFL 213

  • Toefl iBT 80

  • PTE 53

  • DET 105
